It looks very obvious to me that Yahoo!(or webdunia ) India plagiarized contents from couple of blogs when Yahoo launched their Malayalam portal. What is even more surprising is the great company is not taking responsibility for it. The only action followed by the protest post by su, puzha and Inchi was that yahoo (or whoever) removed the posts. If i understand things correctly they blamed the content provider webdunia.
This is not acceptable. I strongly believe Yahoo should atleast admit there mistakes. They bother so much about protecting their on content (Please read yahoo's copyright notice if u have not). How can such an entity just keep quite when they are accused of a theft. The content appeared on their website. Not on webdunia's. Hence, I think Yahoo responsible for this. I am protesting against this and joining the blogger community against corporate plagiarisms.

യാഹൂ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ മലയാളം പോര്‍ട്ടലില്‍, മലയാളം ബ്ലോഗുകളില്‍ നിന്ന് കുറിപ്പുകള്‍ മോഷ്ടിച്ച് ഇട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. പരാതിപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ കുറിപ്പുകള്‍ നീക്കം ചെയ്യുക എന്നല്ലാതെ, ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം ഏറ്റെടുത്ത്, ഒരു ഖേദപ്രകടനം നടത്താന്‍, ഇത്രയും നാളായിട്ട് അവര്‍ തയ്യാറായിട്ടില്ല. തെറ്റ് നടന്നു എന്ന് വ്യക്തമായ സ്ഥിതിയ്ക്ക്, ബൂലോഗ കൂട്ടായ്മയോട് അവര്‍ മാപ്പ് പറയേണ്ടത് ആവശ്യമാണ്.
മാപ്പ് പറയാന്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടപ്പോള്‍, യാഹൂക്കാര്‍, അവര്‍ക്ക് കുറിപ്പുകളൊക്കെ സംഭാവന നല്‍കിയത് വെബ് ദുനിയ എന്ന കമ്പനിയാണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ്, ഉത്തരവാദിത്തത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് ഒഴിയാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുകയാണ്. മോഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ട കുറിപ്പുകള്‍ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്, യാഹൂവിന്റെ വെബ് സൈറ്റില്‍ ആണ്. വെബ് ദുനിയയുടെ സൈറ്റില്‍ അല്ല. അതുകൊണ്ട് യാഹൂ മാത്രമാണ്,
അതിന്റെ ഉത്തരവാദികള്‍ എന്ന് ബൂലോഗം ഉറച്ച് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു.
യാഹൂ എന്ന വന്‍‌കിട കുത്തക സാമ്രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ
ചോരണമാരണത്തിന് എതിരായി, ബൂലോഗകൂട്ടായ്മയിലെ ഒരു അംഗം എന്ന നിലയ്ക്ക്, ഈ പ്രതിഷേധത്തില്‍ ഞാനും പങ്കുചേരുന്നു.
