Protest against content theft | മോഷണത്തിനെതിരെ പ്രതിഷേധം

There were reports about content thefts by kerals.com few days back. It all started (atleast for me) with saji's post. I immediately thought it was going to be a mass protest and the accused people will make atleast a public apology. However, things did not so smooth. According to Inchi, they have already threatened many people and banned people from viewing their site. As far as i understand people are not ready even to admit that they made a mistake. While that itself is kind of sad, what is more shocking is that many people who complained already got some threatening emails. (and many more.. read ). I believe this is major violation of copyright as well as human rights.. I strongly protest against these people and offer my full moral support for all the people who is actively doing the struggle.



രണ്ട് ദിവസം മുന്പ് സജിയുടെ പോസ്റ്റ് വായിച്ചപ്പോഴാണ്‌ പുതിയൊരു ബ്ലോഗ് മോഷണത്തെപറ്റി ഞാനറിയുന്നത്. അത് വായിച്ചപ്പോള് എനിക്ക് തോന്നിയത്, ബ്ലോഗേര്സിന്റെ പ്രതിഷേധത്തെ തുടര്ന്ന് കേരള്സ്.കോം പോസ്റ്റുകള് നീക്കം ചെയ്യുകയും മാപ്പ് പറയുകയും ചെയ്യുമെന്നായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷേ, ശരിക്കും സംഭവിച്ചത് അവര് അവരുടെ സൈറ്റ് വിസിറ്റ് ചെയ്യുന്നതില് നിന്നും ആളുകളെ വിലക്കുകയും, "ഞങ്ങള്ക്കറിയാം എന്ത് ചെയ്യണമെന്ന്" എന്ന രീതിയില് മറുപടി പറയുകയുമായിരുന്നു. സ്വന്തം തെറ്റ് കണ്ട്പിടിക്കപ്പെട്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞും കുറ്റം സമ്മതിക്കുന്നതിനു പകരം അവര് ചെയ്തത്, ഭീഷണിയുടെ സ്വരത്തില് ബ്ലോഗേര്സിനോട് സംസാരിക്കുകയും നിയമ നടപടി എടുക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞ് പേടിപ്പിക്കാന് നോക്കുകയും ആണ്‌. ഇത് പകര്പ്പവകാശത്തിന്റെ മാത്രമല്ല, മനുഷ്യാവകാശങ്ങളുടെ തന്നെ ലംഘനമാണെന്ന പക്ഷക്കാരനാണ്‌ ഞാന്.. ഈ പ്രശ്നത്തില് ഞാന് ശക്തിയായി പ്രധിഷേധിക്കുന്നതിനൊപ്പം, ഈ സമരത്തിന്റെ മുന്‌നിരയില് നില്ക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക് എല്ലാ ധാര്മിക പിന്തുണയും പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുന്നു.
